Hi, I'm Jessica, your Nurse Practitioner. It's nice to meet you.

In my previous clinical encounters, that was about as much time as I had to be personal with you. When we only have a 10-25 minute visit, we need to get right down to business.

I decided to make a career pivot about 10 years ago, and became a Nurse Practitioner so that I could help people. My previous professional experience in nonprofit management and arts administration spoke to my passion for the shared experience and the impact of community. After having worked in administrative capacities in healthcare and behavioral health, arts administration/broadcasting, I was curious about how I could work with people to address their healthcare goals.

My skillset broadened. I went to nursing school, then got a Masters in nursing (Simmons College) and another Masters in public health (Dartmouth College); I was a birth doula and a volunteer Therapy Pet team with my beloved yellow Labrador, Phyllis; I worked in a fast-paced family medicine practice (Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene), and an extremely fast paced reproductive health practice (Planned Parenthood).

I learned A LOT - and learned that in healthcare, you never stop learning. I learned about myself and how I want to work with patients. And the common thread that connects all of this is that I love working with people and solving problems. As a Nurse Practitioner, I get to do both.

Let’s talk about how we can work together to solve your health care problems and chase your healthcare goals.
